DIY:  Helmet Paint, Round Two

I took a minor tumble a couple weeks ago.  No big deal, it had been a long time, and I guess I was due for a fall. I got up immediately and was totally fine.  My helmet didn’t really collide with the ground, it was more of a skidding across the ground…  but I needed to replace it anyway, just in case.

I love the blue accents that I painted on the vents of the old helmet, so I did the same thing again, but this time on a matte black helmet, which I think looks even better than the old carbon fiber.

Here is the original DIY post:

  1. I am helmet shopping right now. Is that an Ovation Protege helmet? If not, what brand is it?

    • It is! I just peeled the little oV sticker off the front.
